SERIOUS FICTIONS
A random toy camera was found and purchased from a Manila supermarket. The images found were iconographical representations of the American military: its army, navy, and air force. They were re-photographed using a photomicrographic system on large format film. Appropriated images of the American military are re-presented as a study of iconography and its roles in promoting ideas of hegemony.
